In the early hours of Friday morning, Ukraine launched a drone attack on Russia’s oil refinery in the Kaluga region. Thus, setting the facilities on fire.

As per Russian media reports, several explosions were reported in Dzerzhinsky district of the Kaluga region, which borders greater Moscow region border.

According to the governor of Kaluga, Vladislav Shapsha, the fire was doused in the nick of time. And the extent of damage is still being examined.

However, he did not specify, at what facility, this incident took place.

Earlier, the Ukraine’s armed forces announced, that they have destroyed 10 Russian drones, responding to Russian’s overnight assault on Friday.

Meanwhile, the common people had grievously been affected by the war.

As two casualties have been reported injured and houses have been set ablaze due to Russia’s attack on Ukraine’s Kharkiv region early Friday.

According to the head of Ukraine’s kharkiv region Oleh Syniehubov, three houses had caught fire.

As per photos shared by Kharkiv’s head, buildings were seemingly set on fire and in the background, the black smoke got mixed in the night sky.

As for the casualties, a young 11-year-old and elderly 72-year-old had reportedly been shocked by this incident, so much so, a medical support had to be administered at that time.
