The Star Plus show, Anupamaa, produced by Rajan Shahi, has been the talk of the town for various reasons recently — whether it is for the perfect casting of the lead actors Rupali Ganguly as Anupamaa and Sudhanshu Pandey as Vanraj with a stellar supporting cast or for the high emotional connect with the audience or the impeccable concept of the show.
Anupamaa has a lot of song and dance sequences which helps the show go forward from time to time. Recently the classic “Hawa Hawai” from Mr India has been shot with Rupali dancing to the song.
Speaking about the whole experience of shooting the song, Rupali says, “There is nobody in this world who can match steps with Sridevi. Thanks to Rajan Shahi who has given me so many opportunities in the show. I can’t thank him enough. Through Anupamaa all of my dreams and wishes are coming true. The dance moves of Sridevi were ultimate. In my childhood, I have performed so many of Sridevi’s film songs, whether they were from Nagina, Chalbaaz, or Mr India. She has been my favourite idol. This performance is a small and humble tribute to Sridevi.”
