Haryana assembly has been continuously witnessing fierce tussle between the ruling party and opposition MLAs in the ongoing assembly. In heated arguments objectionable words have also been used by the MLAs at each other in the ongoing session bring humiliation to the house. Meanwhile, in the assembly session, a very heated debate between Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) MLA Abhay Singh Chautala and his nephew Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) stalwart Dushyant Chautala and JJP MLA Ramkumar Gautam and Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala over several issues. Similarly, Abhay Singh Chautala and the state Home Minister Anil Vji were reportedly involved in verbal spar over the issue of law and order in the state. Citing the death threats to several legislators and the incident of massacre of the INLD state president Nafe Singh Rathi, Abhay Singh Chuatala took on Anil Vij stating that despite the deteriorating law and order situation, no security arrangement have been made to ensure the safety of the sitting MLAs and the deceased Nafe Singh Rathi seeking police security for a long time. Even, he himself was seeking police security for the last 8 months as after he received death threats but the scenario remains unchanged as no steps were taken pertaining to this.

INLD leader in the Assembly Abhay Singh Chautala, while raising the issue of security of MLAs said that law and order in Haryana is marginalized and despite the continuous threats being received by the MLAs, the government outed out to remain calm and speechless. In reaction to this, Anil Vij stood up to leave the house and in revert , Abhay said that instead of answering, you are running away from the House. On this Anil Vij said that whatever has been asked to me will be answered.

The INLD stalwart Abhay Singh Chautala and his nephew who holds the portfolio of the state Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala were involved in verbal state. Taking a jibe at Dushyant Chautala, his uncle Abhay said that in order to promote and benefit the liquor mafia, the Deputy CM has banned the use of plastic bottles being used for pouring liquor and has made a provision to replace these with glass bottles. He further said that Deepika Sangwan, an aunt of the Deputy CM, has a glass bottle manufacturing factory and this new provision is being made to benefit her. In a response to this, Dushyant said that in a bid to tighten the noose around the neck of liquor mafia and those involved in smuggling of liquor, the state government has come up with new provision

Further, the assembly also witnessed heated arguments a second time between Dushyant Chautala and JJP MLA Ramkumar Gautam in a period of five days in the ongoing assembly session. On 27th February in the post lunch assembly session in the absence of Deputy CM and JJP leader Dushyant Chautala in the House, party MLA Ramkumar Gautam took on Dushyant Chautala citing that he has been accusing me repeatedly in my constituency of yearning for the post of state Cabinet Minister but let me tell that when the cabinet was formed and he was denied a berth in the state cabinet , further he broke the ties with Dushyant Chautala on the same day. He further said that I had defeated Captain Abhimanyu who was a cabinet minister then and a BJP heavyweight. After Gautam spoke, Dushyant entered the house and confronted Deputy Speaker Ranbir Gangwa, who was presiding over the House, seeking a clarification saying that his party JJP had not authorized MLA Rajkumar Gautam to speak, then how did the Speaker allow him to speak? If any officer has given a slip to the Speaker regarding the same, then action should be initiated on that also, otherwise the Deputy Speaker should give an explanation as to how his party’s MLA Ramkumar Gautam was permitted to speak.

The sixth day of proceedings of the Haryana Assembly began on Tuesday with one hour Question Hour.
