The Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Center of Rajasthan University, in collaboration with the Media Foundation-Indian Youth Parliament, is organising an international seminar on the subject at the R.A. Podar Management Institute of Rajasthan University on Wednesday and Thursday. The program will be inaugurated on Wednesday at 10:30 am, with the Director-General of Police, Rajasthan, Umesh Mishra, as the chief guest. The main speaker will be senior journalist Mihir Gautam. Special guests include former Vice-Chancellor Prof. A.D. Sawant and the President of Rajasthan University Prof. Alpana Kateja.
The coordinator and director of the Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Center, Prof. Anurag Sharma, mentioned that on this occasion, J. Nand Kumar, the National Coordinator of Prajna Pravah, will deliver a special lecture on social entrepreneurship. He will also release a research book on the subject during this time. In the two-day program, participants will engage with subject experts in various technical sessions through direct question-answer interactions to understand the depth of the subject.
The event coordinator, Ashutosh Joshi of the Media Foundation, stated that this would be the first occasion in the history of the university where four Padma Shri awardees associated with social entrepreneurship would be present together at an event.
