RDJ MP Manoj Jha attacked BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying they are bankrupt of ideas. He highlighted that previously, PM Modi claimed that our alliance would bankrupt the nation. However, according to him, if you forgive Rs 16 lakh crore for associates’ bankruptcy isn’t a concern. On the contrary, providing cylinders for Rs 500 and granting Rs 1 lakh annually to impoverished women signifies bankruptcy.

“This alleged bankruptcy is simply a lack of innovative ideas. PM Modi and his team are devoid of fresh thoughts,” he criticized further. Regarding Union Minister Amit Shah’s recent statement about having the majority to amend the Constitution for a decade, Manoj Jha remarked, “The BJP possesses various avenues for altering the Constitution.” At present, 40 seats in Bihar are in the midst of elections across seven phases. In the 2019 elections, the BJP-led NDA secured a landslide victory by capturing 39 out of 40 seats, with the Congress managing to win only one seat. Despite being a significant player in the state, the RJD did not secure any seats. The vote counting is scheduled for June 4th.

In the Mahagathbandhan, which is the opposition coalition in Bihar comprising the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Congress, and Left parties, the RJD, the coalition’s primary member, is contesting for 26 of the state’s 40 Lok Sabha seats, while the Congress is contesting for nine seats. As part of the NDA, BJP and JD(U) will contest on 17 and 16 seats respectively. Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will contest five seats, and Jitan Manjhi’s Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and the Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) will contest one seat each.
