Before Royal Challengers Bangalore’s match against Lucknow Super Giants on Monday, RCB head coach Sanjay Bangar stated that he expects a great encounter at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Bangalore began their campaign with a win over the Mumbai Indians but fell short in their second match when chasing a mammoth total of 204. Even if RCB maintains its consistency in IPL 2023, defeating LSG will be a difficult assignment. RCB coach Bangar believes that the game against LSG was interesting and that they played some brilliant cricket.
“LSG has played some good cricket in the lead-up to this stage of the tournament, and all matches against them have been exciting. As a result, we anticipate a great battle,” according to Bangar, as quoted by RCB’s Twitter handle.

Royal Challengers Bangalore is aiming to come back after losing by 81 runs to Kolkata Knight Riders. On Monday, they will play their third match of the season against the Lucknow Super Giants at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis are in fantastic form, but their middle order has let them down by failing to come up when needed. RCB’s bowling unit, on the other hand, will be a source of concern before they take the pitch against Lucknow.

The main difference between RCB and Kolkata in their previous match was the spinners; the trio of Varun Chakravarthy, Sunil Narine, and youthful Suyash Sharma decimated Bangalore’s batting unit.
When Kolkata batted, opener Rahmullah Gurbaz hit 57 runs in 44 balls, and then Shardul Thakur’s 68 runs in 29 balls and Rinku Singh’s 46 runs in 333 balls put up a mammoth total of 204/7 against RCB to chase.

RCB openers Virat and Faf made a good start, but as both openers fell in rapid succession, RCB was unable to recover. After a fantastic spell from new finding Suyash Sharma for Kolkata, RCB lost the match in the 18th over after getting all-out.
Now, RCB will strive for a win over LSG to erase the memory of their last match performance. Notably, when the two teams met in the 2022 IPL, RCB did not lose a single match. While this is the first IPL 2023 meeting between the two, both sides come from diverse backgrounds. Lucknow will strive to win the match after winning two of three games to get to the top of the Points Table; they are currently in third place. RCB, on the other hand, would strive to enhance its position by moving up from seventh.
