The creators of ‘Maamla Legal Hai’ have announced the arrival of the show’s second season following its recent debut. Netflix took to Instagram to share the news with fans, posting a clip and captioning it, “Hasta hua lawyer sabse best dikhta hai- isiliye Patparganj ke cuties laut rahe hai!! Maamla Legal Hai is returning for a SECOND SEASON, coming soon, only on Netflix!” The video featured humorous scenes from the first season.

For the upcoming season, Ravi Kishan will return in his role as lawyer VD Tyagi, alongside Naila Grewal, Anant V Joshi, Nidhi Bisht, and Yashpal Sharma. Tanya Bami, Series Head Netflix India, expressed excitement about the audience’s response to the show, stating, “We’re enjoying sharing so many laughs with our audiences…This speaks volumes about fresh ideas and spaces being explored and brought to life across our series slate.”

Sameer Saxena, Executive Producer and Showrunner, shared his thoughts on the show’s success, saying, “Maamla Legal Hai was created with a genuineness that, we hoped, appeals to the audience. We are humbled by the overwhelming reception, the appreciation for its humour and the recognition of the performances and camaraderie of our cast members.”

Directed by Rahul Pandey, ‘Maamla Legal Hai’ offers a unique take on the legal profession, showcasing a diverse group of lawyers from rookies to veterans. The first season focused on the lives of lawyers at Patparganj District Court, including VD Tyagi, Ananya Shroff, Sujata Negi, and Vishwas Pandey, each with their own quirks and challenges.

The release date for ‘Maamla Legal Hai 2’ will be announced soon.
