In the badminton competition organized at RAS Club, children, women and men in the age group of 11 to 65 showed their strength in 9 different categories. In the 115-plus double category of the competition, the winners were Rajpal Yadav and Jagdish, and the runners-up were Antar Singh and Dinesh Jain. In the 85-plus double category, Sukhveer Saini and Devendra were declared winners and Brijesh and Devang were declared runners-up. Similarly, in the 60-plus double category, Ajay Aswal and Jai were declared winners and Ashish and Devendra were declared runners-up. In the men’s singles category, Abhishek Jain was the winner and Deepak Sharma was the runner-up.
Similarly, in the Under 15 women’s category, Harshika Jain was the winner, and Anvika was the runner-up, in the Under-13 men’s category, Aditya Meena was the winner and Ayaan Khurana was the runner-up, in the Under 25 singles category, Jai was the winner and Saksham Arora was the runner-up. Whereas, in the mixed double category, Harisingh and Meenakshi were the winners and Samaksh and Deepti were the runners-up, in the women’s double, Meenakshi, and Divya were the winners and Shivani and Deepti were the runners-up. A total of 70 participants took part in the competition.
In the competition, the chief guests, Chief Minister’s Special Officer Devaram Saini, and Shaheen Ali along with Club President Gaurav Bajad, and RAS Officer Sunil Bhati, encouraged the winners and runners-up by rewarding them, calling sports the basis of a healthy and strong body. Club administrator Surendra Singh Udawat was also present on this occasion.
