A post from Rameshwaram Cafe’s official Instagram account has garnered widespread attention. The restaurant expressed its delight at being part of the “best pre-wedding celebrations” on the Celebrity Ascent Cruise.
They claimed to be the sole restaurant serving South Indian cuisine at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s recent pre-wedding festivities. Rameshwaram Cafe’s cofounder, Raghavendra Rao, confirmed their involvement to HT.com.
In the caption of the post, Rameshwaram Cafe stated, “Yet another Milestone Yet another feather to the Cap. We are Happy to be a part of worlds the best pre wedding celebrations which is happening at @celebritycruises at Spain. @therameshwaramcafe is the only restaurant from south serving the best of the best South Indian food.” The post, shared about 15 hours ago, has amassed over 7,700 likes and numerous comments.

Rao mentioned in an interview with HT.com that Bollywood celebrities and cricketers attending the event are relishing the food served by the cafe, particularly the podi idli and podi dosa.
Anant Ambani, son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, is set to marry Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, in Mumbai on July 12. The ceremony will reportedly take place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC).
The couple, said to be childhood sweethearts, had their roka a few years ago, followed by a formal engagement. Earlier this year, they hosted a pre-wedding celebration attended by dignitaries from around the world. A second pre-wedding celebration commenced on May 29 aboard the cruise ship in Palermo, Italy.
