The Ministry of Defence released a statement on Thursday announcing that Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh would be speaking at the second Indian Air Force Commanders’ Conference of 2023 in the nation’s capital. At the conference, it will be discussed how to improve India’s overall air power as well as issues related to national security, the Ministry of Defense said. Tuesday marked the end of Rajnath Singh’s two-day tour of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam. He engaged in conversation with members of the armed forces stationed in the Tezpur area of Assam on Monday night during the ‘Barakhana’ event.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday paid tribute to the soldiers who lost their lives in the line of duty at Tawang War Memorial in Arunachal Pradesh and appreciated the soldiers for shouldering the responsibility of guarding the borders.
He also performed Shashtra Puja at Tawang, held special prayers, and will be celebrating Vijayadashami with soldiers.
Rajnath Singh appreciated the efforts of the soldiers in securing the borders of the country in sub-minus temperatures at an altitude of 15000 feet above sea level.
He asserted that there is no option but to bolster the country’s security apparatus, underlining that all efforts are being made by the Government to strengthen the nation’s military prowess through indigenous production of defence equipment.
