The chairman of the Rajasthan Small Industries Development Corporation, Rajiv Arora, addressed the India News Rajasthan Conclave Mission 2030 platform. He stated that Rajasthan’s art and culture have now reached the world stage. He mentioned how, in the past, Rajasthan’s art and craft were limited to the national level, but today, Rajasthan is known worldwide. Arora also highlighted that under Mission 2030, the Rajasthan government announced the One District One Product scheme in 2021. This scheme aims to identify a unique speciality in every district of Rajasthan, followed by government initiatives to empower the people there. Additionally, he mentioned the launch of the Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme (RIPS) 2022, which provides incentives for those interested in starting businesses in Rajasthan, including financial assistance.
Arora emphasized that the government would make special efforts in the field of tourism as part of Mission 2030. He also mentioned the government’s efforts to make artists self-reliant, such as the Chief Minister’s Artist Assistance Scheme, which provides financial support to registered artists every year for instrument procurement. Arora expressed confidence that the public continues to support the Congress government, recognizing the numerous benefits and schemes it has provided to the common people. He praised Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s dedication to ensuring the benefits of government schemes reach the last person. He also noted that today, small businesses can reach the global market independently, whereas a few years ago, craftsmen from places like Jaipur, Udaipur, and Jaisalmer had to export their products through intermediaries in Mumbai or Delhi. This has not only increased their income but also made them self-reliant.
