According to authorities, the body of a 19-year-old Dalit girl was discovered in a well in the Karauli district’s Hindaun City. However, BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Kirodi Lal Meena said that the girl was kidnapped and gang-raped before being dropped in the well by pouring acid on her.
The body of the victim was discovered in a well on Bhilapada road in Hindaun on Thursday, according to the Station House Officer (SHO) of Nadoti Police Station, Babulal. Police identified the victim as a 19-year-old female from a community within the district’s Balghat police station borders.
According to authorities, the victim’s body was transferred to the mortuary of the district hospital in Hindaun for a post-mortem. According to the police, as soon as word of the incident circulated, BJP leader Meena arrived at the hospital, and a throng of BJP workers and others gathered around.
According to the police, Todabhim DSP Amar Singh Meena, along with officers from police stations Nadoti, Hindaun Nai Mandi, Kotwali Hindaun, and Balaghat, arrived at the hospital to handle the situation.
According to a BJP MP, the incident occurred on Thursday when some miscreants snatched the girl when she was on her way to school in Nadoti. He further speculated that the accused may have killed the woman after gangraping her, drenched her with acid, and dropped her body into the well.
Meena further stated that following the post-mortem report, a conference with the victim’s family will take place, after which additional steps to pursue justice for the victim would be established.
According to him, the Supreme Court gave an advisory over the rising number of acid assaults, but the Rajasthan government is unable to comply with it. On the hospital grounds, BJP workers and MP Meena chanted shouts against the police administration and the state government.
