Ambulance workers across Rajasthan have been protesting against the government for the last 21 days. Rajasthan ambulance employees were on strike demanding minimum wages and inclusion in the contractual cadre. But a consensus has been reached on the strike of ambulance workers on Thursday and the union has decided to postpone the strike.
Officials of the Rajasthan Ambulance Employees Struggle Committee alleged that the government did not even consider the demands. However, due to increasing problems of the common people due to the strike, the ambulance workers have postponed their strike.
After the strike was postponed, the ambulance workers said that they would answer to the government in the upcoming elections. State President of Rajasthan Ambulance Employees’ Struggle Committee, Virendra Singh Shekhawat said, “For the last 21 days, the ambulance employees have been on strike in the entire state regarding their demands, but to date, the government has not resolved the demands of the ambulance employees. The government remained stubborn on its part.
