Rahul Gandhi’s Nyaya Yatra has dealt a blow to the Randeep Surjewala, Kumari Selja, Kiran Chaudhary (SRK) group in Haryana. Due to Rahul’s visit, Kumari Selja’s Jan Sandesh Yatra in Haryana, scheduled for January 15, has been postponed. The former state president of Haryana Congress and currently in-charge of Uttarakhand Congress, Kumari Selja, had announced plans for this yatra across Haryana. Randeep Surjewala and Kiran Chaudhary had also expressed their support for this yatra.

However, the opposition group was skeptical about the participation of former CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda in this visit. Regarding this event, he had stated that he will participate in whatever event the party organizes.

Concerning Kumari Selja’s visit, Haryana Congress Working President Suresh Gupta said that due to Rahul Gandhi’s Nyaya Yatra, the Jan Sandesh Yatra in Haryana has been temporarily halted. Kumari Selja had prepared the road map for the Jan Sandesh Yatra. The party was set to travel to all 10 Lok Sabha seats and cover all the assemblies. Kumari Selja herself held a meeting with workers from all over the state at her residence in Ambala, discussing preparations for the yatra. The Jan Sandesh Yatra was supposed to start from Faridabad Lok Sabha, with the last stop in Ambala Lok Sabha. Selja had also announced a big rally at the conclusion of the yatra in Ambala.

This time, Haryana will not be in the route of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Nyay Yatra before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. It is set to start from Manipur on January 14 and end in Mumbai on March 20. During this period, the Yatra will cover 14 states and 85 districts, with Rahul Gandhi traveling more than 6,200 kilometers by bus and on foot. The journey will start from Manipur and end in Maharashtra via Nagaland, Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Gujarat. During this journey, Rahul will meet with youth, women, and marginalized people.
