Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attributed the recent Parliament security breach to issues of unemployment and inflation. He claimed that the incident was a direct consequence of the youth not finding jobs due to Prime Minister Modi’s policies. Gandhi made these remarks while addressing reporters, highlighting the economic challenges faced by the country.

Additionally, senior Congress leader KC Venugopal addressed the media, asserting that it was the Delhi Police, under Union Home Minister Amit Shah, that labelled the security breach as a terror attack. He argued that the opposition did not politicize the incident but raised concerns about the evident security lapse.

Venugopal questioned the suspension of 13 Congress MPs, along with Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Derek O’Brien, from the ongoing Winter Session, emphasizing that members in the opposition were being penalized for raising their voices against the government.

The Special Cell of Delhi Police previously informed the Patiala House Court that the mastermind, Lalit Jha, revealed that the accused in the security breach incident had multiple meetings and planned the conspiracy. Lalit Jha reportedly stated that the intention was to create anarchy in the country to force the government to meet their demands. The court granted seven days of custodial remand for the four accused persons in connection with the security breach.
