Farage Chapter 4 drew its inspiration from the rich culinary traditions and personal journey of Chef Anuj Kapoor, whose experiences spanned from the bustling streets of Dilli 6 to the culturally vibrant city of Awadh (Lucknow). This edition of Farage was a tribute to Chef Kapoor’s nostalgic memories and culinary adventures, offering a dining experience that celebrated the diverse and sumptuous flavors of North India.

Guests embarked on an exquisite six-course culinary voyage, designed to transport them from the energetic streets of Dilli 6 to the regal courts of Awadh. Each dish was a carefully crafted masterpiece, reflecting Chef Kapoor’s childhood and college years in Lucknow. The menu promised a sensory delight, with aromatic spices and rich gravies that paid homage to the culinary heritage of North India.

Among the array of tantalizing creations, the standout dish was the “Chowk ka Nalli Nihari Wellington.” This innovative masterpiece married the classic Wellington-style pastry with the decadent flavors of pulled Nalli Nihari mutton, showcasing Chef Kapoor’s ability to reimagine traditional dishes in a contemporary setting. Chef Kapoor shared insights about his inspirations at the beginning of each Farage chapter, highlighting that some of the best offerings from Dilli 6 were predominantly vegetarian.

To enhance the dining experience, guests were serenaded by live acoustic melodies, creating an intimate and charming ambiance. The harmonious blend of music, malts, and gastronomy elevated the evening, making it an unforgettable celebration of North Indian cuisine.
