The Punjab Pavilion emerged victorious, securing a prestigious gold medal for its splendid exhibition at the conclusion of the 42nd India International Trade Fair 2023 on Monday evening. The event, themed “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – Unity through Trade,” was organized by the India International Trade Fair (IITF) in New Delhi from November 14 to 27, 2023.
The administrators of the Punjab Pavilion, led by Dwindarpal Singh and Deputy Administrator Gurpreet Singh, along with other officials, received the award from Pradeep Singh Kharola, Chairman and Managing Director of ITPO, and Rajat Agrawal, Executive Director of ITPo. Dwindarpal Singh, the administrator of the Punjab Pavilion, expressed pride in winning the gold medal at an internationally recognized event, emphasizing the honor it brings to the state.
The Punjab Pavilion featured stalls from various sectors and organizations, including Markfed, Verka, PSIEC, Invest Punjab, NAFED, Punjab Tourism, Gadvasu, PUDA, Punjab Agricultural University Ludhiana, Vigyan, Technology and Environment Wing, and Punjab Pollution Control Board. These stalls showcased the state’s culture, heritage, craftsmanship, industrial development, and agricultural innovations, receiving wholehearted support from the visitors.
