The Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Mann, is constantly working to ensure that the people of the state have access to basic services.Working in this direction, Local Government Minister Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar said that the Punjab government has decided to spend approximately Rs 8.97 crore on development works at Ludhiana, Gobindgarh, and Sangrur. The department has begun the office process for these projects.
More specifically, Local Government Minister Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar stated that approximately Rs 2.98 crores will be spent for the reconditioning of the humbran road in Ludhiana from Session Chowk to Haibowal Chowk. Similarly, a Cabinet Minister stated that Rs 3.02 crore will be spent on the construction of a community centre and a playground in Ludhiana’s village Daba.
Apart from this, beautification of Rajbha will be done with tiles and chain link fencing in front of Shanti Nagar at MC Gobindgarh, along with the laying of interlocking tiles and RCC pipes in the streets of different wards. Approximately Rs 1.48 crore will be spent on it. He stated that, in addition to the existing primary health care centers, the Health Clinic/Aam Aadmi Clinic at Bazigar Basti Dhuri will be strengthened, and labourers will be hired in Sangrur.
