In a major update related to Pune’s Porsche crash matter, the mother of a 17-year-old teen, who allegedly crashed into two software engineers, has requested the police, to protect her son.

As recently, a viral fake video purportedly showed him boasting about how he got away.

Moreover, the mother further said, that the person showed in that video was not her son, and it is fake.

“The video which is being circulated is not of my son. That is a fake video. My son is in the detention centre”. said the mother of 17-year-old teen.

Later, she broke down and walked away. Then appealed to police to protect her son.

About The Video

Just recently, a rap song featuring the 17-year-old teenager allegedly boasted about evading consequences for the car crash, further fueling public outrage amid existing anger toward the boy and his family.

But later, Pune police issued a clarification, saying it was a fake account. Also, it was revealed, that this rap video was of social media influencer.

Allegations Against the Police

Turning to the police, they now face their own allegations. Chief of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, Prakash Ambedkar, recently claimed that the teen was served burgers and pizza during detention.

Taking to X, he wrote,

“Officers at Yerwada Police Station spent more time questioning the relationship between Anish and Ashwini – IT professionals fatally knocked down by a drunk minor -while the accused was allegedly served burger and pizza.”

However, police have denied this claim.

But, according to NDTV, a senior police officer has raised concerns regarding the alleged indifference of the officers and staff at Yerwada station towards this incident.

Additionally, they were questioned about another allegation suggesting deliberate delays in conducting a medical examination to check the teenager’s alcohol level.

Coming to the case, the JJB (Juvenile Justice Board), who earlier gave the teen bail, has been remanded now to the observation home till June 5.
