In a major development involving a high-profile Pune Porsche case, another piece of information has come to the fore. Which allegedly links Sassoon Hospital’s accused doctor and local MLA Sunil Tingre.

It is revealed that around 70 calls were made between Dr Ajay Taware and a man, called Ashpak Makandar, who is allegedly close to legislator, whose name has always cropped up several times since beginning of the investigation.

Further, he has allegedly collected money from teen’s father Vishal Agarwal and gave its money to Dr Taware.

In addition, 21 Pune police personnel have also been transferred. which included five assistant commissioners of police, five senior police inspectors, nine police inspectors and two sub-inspectors with immediate effect.

Meanwhile, the teen’s grandfather has approached the high court against Pune Police, asserting his arrest on the grounds of kidnapping as ‘illegal.’ The petitioner also stated, he was wrongly accused in this crime.

Also, the petition accused the investigative authorities of filing the case against him on the basis of mere allegations and on a complaint, which was given after the delay of five days, without following any procedure under section 42A of the CrPC against the 77-year-old senior citizen.

It also claimed, that after the family driver came back from Yerwada Police station, the petitioner received him and as he was scared, they both decided to go to Grandfather’s house.

Later, the petitioner assured driver and his family of his safety and protection. Thus, calling driver complaint as ‘concocted and bogus,’ regarding his alleged abduction and wrongful confinement, he petitioned the High Court to instruct the police to promptly release him and requested severe action against the officers involved.

Currently, the grandfather is in judicial custody.
