Vice-Chancellor Professor Renu Vig Inaugurates New Reading Hall at Girls’ Hostel No. 9, Punjab University. The inauguration of a new reading hall at Girls’ Hostel No. 9, Punjab University, Chandigarh, took place with the presence of Vice-Chancellor Professor Renu Vig, DSW Professor Jatinder Grover, Professor Simarit Kahlon, and Warden Dr. Nishima Wangu. This reading hall aims to fulfill the needs of South Campus girls, who face difficulties accessing the main library in North Campus, especially during the night, as the reading hall remains open 24 hours.Warden Dr. Nishima expressed gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor, Dean, Warden, and members of the student council for their participation in the inauguration. Students thanked the authorities for this facility, especially during the ongoing university exams in various disciplines.
