Now 20 questions related to Haryana will be asked in the Constable and Sub Inspector (SI) recruitment exam to be held in Haryana. CM Manohar Lal has approved the proposal of Home Minister Anil Vij related to this. Now the revised rules of the exam pattern will be placed for approval in the cabinet meeting. The questions asked in the recruitment exam will be related to the history, culture and other subjects of Haryana.
Earlier, Home Minister Anil Vij had objected to the exam pattern related to the recruitment of constables and sub-inspectors to be started in Haryana. Vij has asked to include questions related to Haryana in the exam pattern in the recruitment proposal revised by the Home Department. Vij also said that the reason behind this is to get maximum benefits to the CET-passed youth of Haryana.
The amended rule was proposed by the Home Department in the Haryana Cabinet meeting on October 11. In the meeting, when the file was placed before Anil Vij by the Home Department for approval, he objected saying that questions related to Haryana have not been included in the exam pattern for recruitment. However, the proposal prepared by the Home Department has received approval from the state AG office and LR.
The rules have been amended by the Home Department in Constable-Sub Inspector recruitment. Under these rules, direct recruitment will be done on all the vacant posts of the police constable, while direct recruitment will be done on 50 per cent posts of Sub Inspector. The educational qualification for the post of constable will be 12th. Whereas graduation educational qualification has been fixed for Sub Inspector.
The most important thing in this recruitment is that the candidates must have passed CET. It has been proposed by the Home Department that the amendments being made by the Home Department for the recruitment of constables and inspectors will not be applicable in special recruitment.
These rules will be implemented only in this recruitment. Under the Ex-Gracia Scheme, the state government will implement it from time to time on the recommendation of the DGP to appoint children of deceased police personnel in the specialized wing of Haryana Police.
