The School Education Department of UT Ladakh took a significant step towards strengthening its teaching workforce by extending offers of appointment to selected candidates for the post of Teacher (Group C, Non-Gazetted) in the Leh district.
The recruitment examination, administered by the Leh Autonomous Hill Development Subordinate Services Recruitment Board, was held on February 04, 2024. Subsequently, after thorough evaluation, the results were declared on February 13, 2024, marking the initiation of the appointment process. Offers of appointments were issued to 50 deserving candidates for teaching positions across various subjects including Science, Maths, Urdu, and others.
In a parallel effort, the LAHDC-Kargil Subordinate Services Recruitment Board conducted examinations on February 18, 2024. Following swift evaluation, the results were announced on February 21, 2024.
The School Education Department is now in the process of issuing appointment offers to eligible candidates, which will be distributed shortly.
