Prime Video, India’s premier entertainment destination launched ‘FanCode’, the country’s first dedicated sports streaming service on Prime Video Channels marking a significant milestone. The newly launched channel offers access to over 15 different sports, including cricket, football, rugby, kabaddi, basketball, and horse racing, FanCode brings global and domestic sports to Indian audiences.
Prime members can now enhance their sports entertainment experience by subscribing annually to FanCode at an exclusive introductory price of Rs 249, available only through Prime Video Channels. With this subscription, users can gain access to a diverse range of sports content from around the world, including exclusive rights to ICC Pathways, Cricket West Indies, EFL, CONMEBOL, Volleyball World & FIBA, watch tournaments such as the Carabao Cup, Women’s Big Bash League, FIFA U17 World Cup, Barclays Women’s Super League, AFC Champions League, AFC Cup, and Yuva Kabaddi, amongst others, with additional access to Super Smash and England tour of the West Indies.
Vivek Srivastava, head of Prime Video Channels, Prime Video, India, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “We are thrilled to collaborate with FanCode to offer our customers an immersive sport viewing experience with a line-up that spans multiple sports and geographies. The addition of FanCode to Prime Video Channels allows us to offer a comprehensive bouquet of entertainment, from international and local language content to kids-focused and now live sports.” FanCode, in its four years of existence, has streamed over 45,000 hours of live sports content. Yannick Colaco, Co-founder of FanCode, sees this collaboration as a step towards reaching every sports fan across the country.
