President Droupadi Murmu will address the nation on Wednesday on the eve of the 74th Republic Day. The address will be broadcast from 7 PM on the entire national network of All India Radio.
“The address will be broadcast from 1900 hrs. on the entire national network of All India Radio (AIR) and telecast over all channels of Doordarshan in Hindi followed by the English version,” the Rashtrapati Bhavan statement.
Meanwhile, over all the channels of Doordarshan, the event will be telecast in Hindi followed by the English version.
“Broadcast of the address in Hindi and English on Doordarshan will be followed by broadcast in regional languages by regional channels of Doordarshan. AIR will broadcast regional language versions from 2130 hrs. onwards on its respective regional networks,” the statement added.
Moreover, from 9:30 PM onwards it will be broadcast in all regional languages on its respective regional networks.
Earlier on Tuesday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi came to India. El-Sisi will be the chief guest of the 74th Republic Day celebrations.
