On Tuesday, President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Jaipur, receiving a warm welcome from Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. The Chief Minister presented a bouquet to the President at the State Hanger.

President Murmu is scheduled to visit Beneshwar Dham on February 14, where she will pay a visit to the Radhakrishna Temple and participate in the Rajivika Lakhpatti Didi Sammelan.

The district administration of Dungarpur has completed preparations for the President’s visit, with Regional Commissioner Neeraj Pavan and IG S. Parimala, along with Dungarpur Collector Ankit Kumar Singh and SP Kundan Kavariya, assessing the arrangements at Beneshwar Dham.

Stringent security measures will be in place for the President’s tour, marking the first-ever visit by a president to Baneshwar Dham, a place of faith for lakhs of tribals. President Draupadi Murmu is expected to arrive at Beneshwar Dham on a special helicopter around 1:50 pm on Wednesday. Approximately 10,000 women are set to participate in the program in Dungarpur.

The President will stay in Dungarpur for over three hours and depart for Delhi in the evening. Traditional welcome ceremonies, including drum playing and a representative ‘Holi’ dance, are planned for her reception.

During the conference, President Murmu will distribute loans of Rs 250 crore and checks of Rs 50 crore under Mahila Nidhi to women.

She is also scheduled to address the women gathered for the event. Around 10,000 women from Dungarpur, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Salumber, and Udaipur districts will participate in the conference.

Security preparations for the President’s visit were discussed in a meeting of police officers led by IG S Parimala, where necessary guidelines were provided regarding security arrangements.
