Akhilesh Yadav is an Indian politician and a prominent leader of the Samajwadi Party (SP). He was born on July 1, 1973, in Saifai, Uttar Pradesh, into a political family, with his father Mulayam Singh Yadav being a prominent leader of the SP and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
He won from Kannauj with 1.7 lakh votes in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
Akhilesh Yadav’s political career began when he was elected as a member of the Lok Sabha from Kannauj in 2000. He has since been elected to the Lok Sabha three times and has also served as a Member of the Legislative Council in Uttar Pradesh.
