A soldier from Riwali village in Behror, Rajasthan, was martyred in Kashmir on Saturday. Nitesh Yadav, serving in the Indian Army, tragically lost his life when an army vehicle fell into a ditch in Bandipora, Jammu and Kashmir. The accident claimed the lives of four soldiers, while two others were injured. Nitesh Yadav, a resident of Riwali village, was among those martyred, leaving the entire village in deep mourning.
Former Sarpanch Confirms Soldier’s Death
Naresh Yadav, the former Sarpanch of Riwali village and uncle of the martyr, confirmed the heartbreaking news. He shared that Nitesh had joined the army in 2017 and was married to Anshu Yadav in 2021. Anshu is currently pursuing coaching for a medical compounder in Jaipur. The couple has a two-year-old son. Nitesh’s father is a farmer, and his mother is a housewife.
Upon hearing the news of Nitesh Yadav’s martyrdom, villagers gathered to mourn the loss of their brave son. His body was brought back to Riwali on Sunday, where he was given a final farewell with full military honours.
