Police searched for 358 missing children in one month

Rajasthan Police conducted Operation ‘Khushi-7’ from August 1st to August 31st, at the state level, to search for missing minors under the age of 18. In one month, the police have located 358 missing children. The police team is continuously working to search for other missing children.

Additional Director General of Police, Civil Rights and AHT Smriti Srivastava stated that for this campaign, teams have been formed at the police station level, coordinating with rescue teams, along with representatives from the Women and Child Development Department, Women’s Empowerment Department, Social Welfare Department, Child Welfare Committee, and NGO members to take extensive steps in searching for these children.

Under this campaign, searches were conducted for children in the following districts of Rajasthan: Ajmer – 16, Bhilwara – 21, Nagaur – 17, Tonk – 3, Jaipur North – 20, Jaipur South – 3, Jaipur East – 13, Jaipur West – 5, Jaipur Rural – 6, Jhunjhunu – 8, Sikar – 12, Dausa – 1, Alwar – 4, Bhiwadi – 22, Bikaner – 5, Churu – 6, Ganganagar – 8, Hanumangarh – 8, Bharatpur – 4, Sawai Madhopur – 2, Dholpur – 3, Karauli – 4, Jodhpur East – 2, Jodhpur West – 6, Jodhpur Rural – 3, Jalore – 3, Barmer – 10, Pali – 11, Sirohi – 1, Kota City – 8, Kota Rural – 6, Bundi – 9, Jhalawar – 21, Baran – 3, Udaipur – 21, Banswara – 11, Chittorgarh – 9, Dungarpur – 22, Rajsamand – 18, and Pratapgarh – 11 children were found and reunited with their families.
