Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday distributed around 71,000 appointment letters to new recruits through video conference at the National Rozgar Mela in several government departments and organisations.

While addressing the gathering, PM Modi greeted the nation on the occasion of Baisakhi. He congratulated candidates who received appointment letters.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the government is ready to provide young people with skill and energy the best chances to realise their vision of a thriving India.

The Prime Minister emphasised that states under NDA leadership, including Gujarat, Assam, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra, are moving quickly to provide government jobs to youth.

He went on to say that over 22,000 teachers in Madhya Pradesh received appointment letters on Wednesday.

“This Rozgar Mela is our dedication towards the youth of the nation,” PM Modi said.

The Prime Minister stated that, despite the recession and pandemic the entire world is facing at the moment, the world is looking towards India as one of the fastest-rising economies in the world.

“Today’s New India is moving with policies and strategies that have opened the doors for new possibilities,” he added.

He said that after 2014, India adopted a proactive approach as opposed to the reactive stance of earlier times.

“This has resulted in a situation where this third decade of the 21st century is witnessing opportunities for employment and self-employment that were unimaginable earlier.” “Youngsters are finding such sectors that did not even exist ten years ago,” the Prime Minister said.

Giving examples of startups and Indian youth’s enthusiasm, the Prime Minister referred to a report that said that startups have created more than 40 lakh direct or indirect jobs.
