Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to attend the All India Conference of Director Generals (DG’s) and Inspector Generals (IG’s) of Police at the National Agricultural Science Complex on Saturday in Delhi.

The three-day conference will be held from 20-23 January 2023 and will be held in a hybrid format.

Meanwhile, the conference will be attended by around 100 invitees including DGP of States/UTs and Heads of Central Armed Police Forces and Central Police Organizations while the remaining invitees will participate virtually from across the country.

Moreover, in the conference issues including Cyber Crime, Technology in Policing, Counter Terrorism challenges, Left Wing Extremism, capacity building, and Prison Reforms will be discussed.

However, DGP conference PM Modi showed a keen interest since 2014 and has also encouraged the organization of annual DGP conferences all across the country.

Earlier in 2014 the conference was organized in Guwahati, Rann of Kutch in 2015, Hyderabad in 2016, Tekanpur in 2017, Kevadiya in 2018, Pune in 2019, and Lucknow in 2021.
