After arriving in Bengaluru on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chanted “Jai Vigyan Jai Anusandhan” outside HAL airport.
PM Modi said in front of Bengaluru’s HAL airport, “I could not stop myself as I was not in the country, but I decided to visit Bengaluru first and meet our scientists right after visiting India.” The Prime Minister also met those gathered outside Bengaluru’s HAL airport in the meantime.
On Saturday, PM Modi will have a meeting with the scientists on the ISRO Chandrayaan-3 Mission team at the ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command Network Mission Control Complex.
While visiting the 15th BRICS Summit on Wednesday, the Prime Minister watched the live broadcast from Johannesburg of the historic lander Vikram touching down on the Moon.
