Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated two new Mumbai metro lines 2A and 7, a 35-km long elevated corridor from Andheri to Dahisa on Thursday.

Earlier in poll-bound Karnataka on Thursday PM Modi distributed title deeds of new revenue villages to beneficiaries at Malkhed, Karnataka.

Speaking at a programme in Kalaburgi in Karnataka PM Modi said, “Neither is this region, nor Banjara society is new to me. Our brothers and sisters from the Banjara family are always contributing towards nation-building in their own ways and I have been lucky to join them on several occasions.”

Later in the day at around 5 pm PM Modi will reach Mumbai. In Mumbai PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth around Rs 38,800 crores.

Meanwhile, in Maharashtra PM Modi will inaugurate two Mumbai Metro lines worth Rs 38,000 crore infra projects and will also lay the foundation stone of seven sewage treatment plants, a road concretization project in Mumbai, and redevelopment of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.

In poll-bound Karnataka, PM Modi will visit Yadgiri and Kalaburagi to lay the foundation stone and inaugurate projects worth more than Rs 10,800 crores.

Moreover, in Karnataka PM Modi will also distribute title deeds (hakku Patra) to about fifty thousand beneficiaries of newly declared revenue villages.

Ahead of PM Modi’s visit, Mumbai Police has also issued a traffic advisory on Wednesday.

“In view of a program organized on 19th January at BKC Bandra (E), following traffic arrangements are been made on 19/01/2023 between 16.30 hrs to 18.30 hrs,” Mumbai Police.

Earlier on Wednesday, in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Mumbai, no drone, para-gliders, remote control microlight aircraft flying activities were allowed in the jurisdiction of BKC PS, Andheri PS, Meghwadi PS, Jogeshwari Police Station on 19 January.

However, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also inspected the BKC ground where PM Modi will address the people.
