On coming June 23, a big meeting is going to be held in Bihar’s capital Patna regarding opposition unity. It is obvious that there should be a lot of politics regarding this and it is also happening. In this sequence, the statement of Prashant Kishor, the founder of Jan Suraj, is also very much discussed.

Prashant Kishor on opposition mobilization said, “Whether it is party or opposition, I have no role, whatever Nitish Kumar does, it will have no effect in the country.”

Prashant Kishor said that the upheaval in Bihar’s politics is a “Bihar-centric” phenomenon. He further added, “I have no role in this neither in the mobilization of the opposition nor in the mobilization of the party. The work done by Nitish Kumar, I think for which the people of Bihar have made him the Chief Minister of Bihar, in whatever formation he may be.”

He told in addition, “Today, his priority should be for the development of Bihar, whether there is mobilization of the opposition or not. My own little political understanding, what is the credibility of the opposition mobilizing in Bihar now, will have to be left to the people of Bihar. I do not think that the new political experiment that has taken place in Bihar will have any nationwide result. In my statement, I have said on the Grand Alliance government that has been formed. I consider the political events that have changed in Bihar as a state event, it is not possible in my understanding that it will make any difference in the politics of the country.”
