The Patiala House Court in Delhi has postponed the pronouncement of its order on the regular bail application of parliamentarian Engineer Rashid until October 5. Rashid, who represents the Baramulla constituency in Jammu and Kashmir, is currently out on interim bail, which is set to expire on October 2.
Rashid, a sitting Member of Parliament, is expected to be released from Tihar Jail later today following the extension of his interim bail. The court’s decision on his regular bail remains pending as the legal proceedings continue.
