Rail passengers will get direct connectivity to Chandigarh from Rewari through Vande Bharat. Extension of Ajmer Delhi Vande Bharat train to Chandigarh has been approved. The train time table will also be released soon. The journey from Rewari to Chandigarh through Vande Bharat will take 3 hours.
Union Minister Rao Inderjit said that the proposal to extend the Ajmer Delhi Vande Bharat train to Chandigarh was sent to the Railway Board last month, which has been approved. He said that through Vande Bharat train, railway passengers of Rewari and Gurugram will have direct connection with Chandigarh and the distance to Chandigarh can be covered in less time.
People going to Chandigarh for government work, including government employees, will find it easy to reach Chandigarh in less time by train and the journey will become pleasant.
Rao said that there has been an old demand from railway passengers for direct connectivity to Chandigarh, to fulfill their demand through Bande Bharat, a plan to expand other train ons to Chandigarh is also being considered.
