Panchkula witnessed elaborate celebrations to mark the consecration of Lord Ram Lala in Ayodhya, with Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta actively participating in the festivities.
The grand programmes included the distribution of laddus and lively dancing to Lord Shri Ram’s hymns, bringing joy to the community. Gupta expressed pride in the momentous occasion, highlighting that after about 550 years, Shri Ram Lala has taken his place in Ayodhya›s grand temple, a matter of pride for the entire 140 crore population of the country.
Gupta shared his happiness by distributing laddus and presenting lamps to people near Labor Chowk in Sector-16, encouraging them to celebrate the day as a Festival of Lights. His infectious enthusiasm led him to dance to the Ram bhajan ‘Meri Jhonpri Ke Bhaag Aaj Khul Jayenge, Ram Aayege alongside the crowd, creating a joyful atmosphere filled with the chanting of Jai Shri Ram.
Further, he attended a Bhandara organized by former councilor Prem Malik in Rajiv Colony, where he distributed kheer and sweet treats to the attendees. Having personally witnessed the consecration ceremony of Lord Shri Ram Lala in Ayodhya, Gupta watched the live telecast of Pran Pratishtha at Aggarwal Bhawan Sector-16.
