5 August will be first anniversary of the abrogation of Article 370. On this occasion, Pakistan has hatched a conspiracy against India and it is noteworthy to mention that Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan and its intelligence agency ISI have prepared a18-point plan to defame India.
Imran Khan will be holding a rally in PakistanOccupied Kashmir (POK) on 5 August to address its people and the same will also be telecast live to send a message that Pakistan has not forgotten what has happened in Kashmir. Before Imran’s arrival in Muzaffarabad, the Pakistani government will be arranging a guided tour of foreign journalists. According to Pakistan’s official documentary, Imran wants to portray in the eyes of foreign media that the people in Kashmir are not free.
Pakistan has called on its embassies around the world to hold rallies and protests to draw international media attention on 5 August.
On 4 August, the ISI’s PR division will organise a visit for the United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) to show that there are no restrictions on people in POK. Pamphlets and some big newspapers will also be a part of this campaign. All these preparations have been made by the Pakistan Army and Imran Khan will just be the face of it.
According to Intelligence sources, Director General of ISPR (ISI’s PR wing) will start his day with a tweet supporting Kashmiris. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of the Imran Khan government has been entrusted with the task of launching special page coverage in all major Urdu and English newspapers. Apart from this, it has also been decided that the “logo” of all Pakistani news channels will be blacked out on 5 August. All channels in Pakistan have been directed to broadcast special programmes on Kashmir. A special song has also been composed for Kashmiris. Pakistan will also give royal treatment to Kashmiri leaders, activists and international organisations of India who supported them on 5 August this year.
At the same time, pamphlets will be distributed regarding the UN resolution on Jammu and Kashmir, which mentions a referendum. Pakistan’s foreign ministry and ISI will also hand over a white paper to the UN military observer group in Pakistan and call for a referendum.
To give international colour to the issue, all Pakistani embassies have been asked to hold ceremonies and rallies around the world. Pakistan hopes that the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation can also issue anti-India statements. At the same time, Turkey, Malaysia and China may also support Pakistan on this.
