UP CM orders officials to conduct cheat-free examinations

The Yogi Adityanath government is set to leave no stone unturned for the smooth conduct of the upcoming UP Board examinations.The state government is ready to hold the examination with utmost transparency.

The UP CM has taken some tough steps, including the imposition of the NSA against anyone caught using unfair means during the examination. Apart from this, an FIR will also be registered against the room invigilators.

If a disturbance is discovered in any school during online monitoring, the nodal officer will conduct an investigation by contacting the administrator of the relevant examination center.

The UP Board Examinations are scheduled to start on February 16. For the smooth conduct of the examination, a control room has been established in all 75 districts, and a supervisor will evaluate the entire examination online and then report to the government.

For the first time in the UP Board examination, stitched answer sheets have been arranged, and the QR code and logo of the board will also be printed on the answer sheet. The 20-mark objective questions will be evaluated on an OMR sheet.

This time, 170 jailed prisoners will also appear in the UP board exams, 79 candidates are registered in high school and 91 in intermediate, stated an official release.

Officials have classified 16 districts as sensitive, 936 centres as sensitive, and 242 highly sensitive.

The state government has made arrangements for 3 lakh CCTV cameras with voice recorders, DVR router devices, and high-speed internet connections in all examination centers. All the arrangements have been made to monitor all 8,753 examination centres live for the smooth conduct of the examinations.
