Three BJP councillors submitted their nominations for the Finance and Contract Committee (F&CC) elections scheduled for March 11. The nominations were filed with MC Secretary Shambhu Rathee at the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation office.
Councillors Maheshinder Singh Sidhu, Jasmanpreet Singh, and Lakhbir Singh Billu are the BJP candidates vying for positions on the committee. They expressed their commitment to addressing development issues in Chandigarh and pledged to work diligently if elected.
Amit Jindal, BJP State General Secretary, noted that given the party’s significant representation in the MC House, they submitted three nominations for the five-member committee. He expressed confidence in the BJP’s ability to secure victories for all three candidates in the upcoming elections.
