Seeing the Congress alliance strategy, the possibility of bringing small parties together in Rajasthan has arisen. Congress is making an effort to prevent the division of votes at any cost against the BJP. Therefore, even after opposition from its state units, Congress seems ready to negotiate seat-sharing with regional parties in states like Delhi, Punjab, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and Haryana. However, the rounds of meetings of the coalition committee regarding the sharing of seats will continue. Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot, Mukul Vasnik, Salman Khurshid, and senior leaders have been holding meetings with state leaders for the past two days. The party could finalize the seat-sharing regarding Delhi, Maharashtra, Punjab, Haryana, and Bihar soon. In these states, a total of 118 Lok Sabha seats are available. Congress strategists believe that if the opposition unites against the BJP in all these states, it could deal a blow of 60 to 70 seats to the BJP. Congress may allocate seats to the Aam Aadmi Party in states like Haryana, Delhi, and Punjab according to their demands. Seeing the formation of alliances in these states, the possibility of an alliance in the states is also emerging. Experts believe that if there had been an understanding with regional parties during the assembly elections in states like Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, the party could have been in a favourable position. In Rajasthan, the party RLP led by Hanuman Beniwal caused damage to Congress on some seats in the assembly elections. Now, some leaders of the party want Congress to ally with RLP in the LokSabha elections. This would benefit Congress in the Jat-dominated seats in Rajasthan, where Jats have played a crucial role in supporting Congress in the assembly elections. Jats have openly supported Congress, which led to a good victory in Jat-dominated areas. Jats are currently unhappy with the BJP due to the removal of Sachin Pilot from the post of state president. Currently, Congress seems weak in Hindi-speaking states due to the atmosphere of the Ram Mandir. Congress has not won a single seat in the Lok Sabha in Rajasthan in the last two times. In this situation, Congress can achieve good results in the Lok Sabha by achieving caste equilibrium this time. The schemes of the Gehlot government may also work in favour of Congress this time. If the Congress party succeeds in preventing the division of votes by uniting, the trend of consecutive defeats for the last two times may break. In this way, if other parties like SP stay together in states like Madhya Pradesh, it could pose a challenge to the BJP.
