In view of the protest, the state government as the policeman department along with other administrative officials had ensured proper arrangements to maintain law and order and avoid any kind of nuisance if it takes place. Several railway tracks that connect the state from other parts of the country, including Rohtak-Delhi, Delhi-Chandigarh, Ambala to Amritsar were blocked. In continuation to this, Delhi-Kalka Shatabdi stopped at Ambala Cantt in view of the farmers’ agitation. It came out that in these series, railway services remained obstructed on the Bhiwani-Delhi track near Kaluwas villages, Bahadurgarh, Sonipat. Apart from this, the railway tracks were blocked in many other districts including Panipat, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Hisar, Rohtak, Jind, Fatehabad, Sirsa and Bhiwani etc. Farmers blocked the Delhi-Chandigarh and Delhi- Amritsar routes. Besides, several trains were cancelled and as per sources of the northern railway, nearly 50 trains along with its properties were affected by the protest as the farmers continued to sit on tracks.
