In South Chennai, the BJP has nominated former Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, who will contest against Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam’s (DMK) Tamilachi Thangapandian. In Central Chennai, Vinoj P Selvam, fielded by the BJP, will face off against DMK’s Dayanidhi Maran.
