Pakistan’s plot to disturb peace ahead of election in Jammu Kashmir foiled, Army killed two terrorist on LoC in Uri

Ahead of parliament elections, security forces thwarted an infiltration attempt in the Uri sector of the Line of Control (LoC), resulting in the neutralization of another terrorist, officials confirmed today.

The operation unfolded in Sahura Nala area of the Uri sector, where security forces intercepted a group of infiltrating terrorists after detecting suspicious movements along the LoC early on Friday morning.

In the ensuing encounter, security forces successfully neutralized two terrorists. The firefight claimed the life of one terrorist initially, while the other was eliminated as the operation progressed, bringing the total number of terrorists killed to two.

“This infiltration attempt has been effectively foiled by our vigilant security forces. Searches and clearance operations are currently underway in the area to ensure complete security,” officials stated.

Authorities are working to ascertain the identities of the slain terrorists, providing crucial insights into their affiliations and intentions.

The Uri sector, located in the volatile region of Jammu and Kashmir, has been a frequent target for infiltration attempts by militant groups. The relentless efforts of security forces have been instrumental in preventing such nefarious designs, ensuring the safety and security of the region.
