Mumbai: Satish Kaushik’s mortal remains to be taken for final rites

A popular Indian actor, director, producer, comedian and screenwriter, Satish Kaushik left us for his heavenly abode. Thar fame actor passed away ta the age of 66 on Wednesday, 8 March, 2023.

The tragic news of actor’s demise was confirmed by his close friend and co-actor, Anupam Kher, who took to his social media account to share the heartbroken news with Kaushik’s fans. Kher on the early hours of Thursday morning took to his Twitter handle and penned “I know “death is the ultimate truth of this world!”

“But I never thought in my dreams that I will write about my best friend #SatishKaushik while I am alive. Such a sudden end to friendship of 45 years!! Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH! Om Shanti!”

Cause of Death

As per reports, the actor passed away after a heart attack on Wednesday. The body of the late veteran actor had been brought for the post-mortem examination at the Deen Dayal Hospital, Delhi. As per sources, “Kaushik’s body will be sent to Mumbai in an air ambulance from Delhi today.”

A day before the tragic death of the actor, he attended the Holi Bash on March 7, organized by Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar in Mumbai. After the news of the actor’s demise broke on the internet, his pictures from the party is making rounds across the social media platform as netizens are paying their tributes and condolences to the late actor and his family.

At the time, when the actor reportedly fell sick, he had traveled to Delhi to attend the Holi party of a close friend, sources added. Several Bollywood stars seemed to paying their tributes to the late actor.
