Labour Party leader Keir Starmer was officially appointed the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom by King Charles in a swift ceremony at Buckingham Palace on Friday. Starmer defeated Conservative leader Rishi Sunak with the Labour Party securing 411 seats, as compared to 119 secured by the Tories.
