Inkreadible 2024 by novel bunch ends on a high note

In a celebration of literature, thought-provoking discussions, and book launches, the Inkreadible Writers and Speakers Festival organized by the region’s fastest and most popular literary group Novel Bunch unfolded at the Infosys campus in Chandigarh. The event, brought together a diverse array of renowned writers, speakers, and personalities to engage, inspire, and entertain a captivated audience. The festival featured a series of impactful sessions, starting with a riveting talk by Lt Gen KJS ‘Tiny’ Dhillon, who shared insights from his book, “Kitne Gaazi Aaye, Kitne Gaazi Gaye”.

The festival attendees were privileged to hear first-hand accounts from the distinguished military officer. Sumant Batra, a prolific author and legal luminary, was in conversation with famous author Neelesh Kulkarni. Gautam Chintamani delivered a keynote address that delved into the intricate relationship between Bollywood and literature. His insightful reflections set the stage for an enlightening discourse on the intersection of these two influential domains. A session on Golf featuring Droncharya Awardee Jesse Grewal, Shubhankar Sharma, Saaniya Singh, Siddhant Jain and Chitranjan Agarwal brought a new perspective towards the game. This session as also lapped up by the audience. Book launches were a highlight of the day, with Sumant Batra unveiling his own creation, ‘Anarkali’, Shweta Malhotra presenting ‘Quill on the Window Sill,’ and Ravee Pandher introducing her book ‘Healing Harmony Happiness.’

Each launch was met with enthusiasm and anticipation from the literary enthusiasts in attendance. The festival also catered to the gastronomic sensibilities of the audience, as Chef Sanjeev Verma, Dietician Harleen Bakshi, and Riju Dave took centre stage for a delectable food session, offering a feast for both the mind and the palate. Senior Crime Journalist Baljeet Parmar’s in his session Dial M for Mafia enthralled everyone by giving incredible insights into the Mumbai underworld. In the Love and Relationships session, the audience was treated to profound insights from Simran Singh, Yogehswar Sharma, Pooja Marwah, and Sakoon Singh.

The discussions were thought-provoking, shedding light on various aspects of human connections. Moments of inspiration were delivered by Gen Malik, former COAS, whose powerful speech resonated with the audience, leaving an indelible impact on all present. Renowned author and TEDx Motivational Speaker Vivek Atray also shared his views about the festival. An exclusive tie-up between Chandigarh Club and Novel Bunch to organize monthly literary events at the Club was also announced at the event.

The festival, which saw a full house throughout the day, was made possible through the generous support of Infosys and its dedicated staff. Their commitment to fostering intellectual and cultural exchange was evident in the seamless execution of this literary extravaganza.
