Stranded persons were rescued and moved to the terrace of the building, and thankfully no other injuries were reported. Firefighters worked quickly to bring the fire under control, and it was eventually doused at 8.42 am. Unfortunately, one person didn’t make it out alive, and nine people were injured in the incident. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victim’s family and those affected in this tragic event.

Devjikaran asserted that their structure is deficient in fundamental fire safety gear: “Our structure is deficient in fundamental fire safety gear.” The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), to whom we were instructed to address our complaints, said that the project had already been given to the SRA. We were instructed to get in touch with the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) after approaching the SRA because they were involved in the project. We were informed by the officials who gave us the land when we contacted the MMRDA that they would supply the necessary tools. He said, “We’re not sure who to approach.
He continued by saying that a large number of the trapped individuals managed to move to the terrace, which ultimately assisted them in surviving the disaster.

The smoke prevented the people from stepping outside as the fire progressed to the tunnel. Ramane’s mother, who resides on the 12th floor, was killed in the event, according to Devjikaran.
