In last 24 hours, India has recorded 2,468 new Covid cases, with 17 deaths

According to the Union Health Ministry, India recorded 2,468 new coronavirus infections, bringing the total to 4,46,01,934, while active cases fell to 33,318.

The death toll rose to 5,28,733 with 17 more fatalities, including nine deaths reconciled by Kerala, according to data updated by the ministry at 8 a.m.

According to the ministry, active cases account for 0.07 per cent of total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate has increased to 98.74 per cent.

The active COVID-19 case count has dropped by 1,280 cases in the last 24 hours, according to the report.

According to the ministry, the daily positivity rate was 1.32 per cent and the weekly positivity rate was 1.32 per cent.

The number of people who have recovered from the disease has risen to 4,40,39,883, with a case fatality rate of 1.19 per cent.
