Continuing the development momentum in Panchkula, Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Gian Chand Gupta, inaugurated the recarpeting work of two roads in Budhanpur Sector-16 and Sector-15 today, at a cost of approximately Rs 82 lakh. Mayor of the Municipal Corporation, Kulbhushan Goyal, and Commissioner Sachin Gupta were also present at the event.

Gupta instructed the officers to ensure the use of quality materials in the road works, emphasizing that compromising on quality would not be tolerated. He urged local residents to monitor the progress of work along with the officers, ensuring timely completion for the benefit of the public.

He also directed the Municipal Corporation officers to prioritize the construction work of a foot over-bridge in village Budhanpur. Addressing an open sluice valve issue in the residential area of Sector-15, Gupta directed the concerned officers of Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) to promptly cover it, considering the inconvenience and potential risks it posed to pedestrians. The Executive Engineer assured Gupta that the issue would be resolved by the following day.

Furthermore, Gupta urged the Municipal Corporation officers to ensure the prompt opening of public toilets in Indira and Rajiv Colony, which have remained closed despite repair work completion.

Present at the occasion were Deputy Municipal Commissioner Apoorva Chaudhary, Executive Engineers Pramod Kumar and Rohtas Hooda, BJP District President Deepak Sharma, Councilors Harendra Malik, Suresh Verma, Sunit Singla, Jai Kaushik, Sudesh Birla, Mandal Mahamantri Pramod Vats, State Yuva Morcha Vice President Sandeep Yadav, and District Media Incharge Naveen Garg.
